Curls Types

Browse Our Fabulas range of curly hair .Curly hair is typically split into three types: type 2 (wavy), type 3 (curly), and type 4 (kinky and coily), as well as categories A, B, and C,which we will go into further detail about below.

4a

4a

The curls of type 4a hair are medium in size and loosely packed. The curls are around the size of a crochet needle and are shaped like a springy S. When compared to 4b or 4c curls, the 4a hair type's curls are less tightly interwoven. Each 4a strand spirals or coils.

4b

4b

4b type curls are tighter than type 4a, type 4b hair contains tightly packed curls. Tight curls that aren't quite as tight as 4c curls are what 4b curls resemble. 4b curls have a zigzag pattern due to the way they bend. A strand of 4b hair develops tight "Z" curls vertically if you grip it and gently pull it down.

4c

4c

The 4c hair type falls within the more general group of type 4 hair in the hair typing system. Type 4 hair, which is also known as black, kinky, or coarse hair, is distinguished by its tight, dense texture and inherent lift. Type 4c hair has a distinctive curl pattern that contributes to its volume.
